The fox wall

A favorite spot for this gray fox kit, originally uploaded by Jen Joynt.

I was lucky enough to get to see some of the fox family a few more times. The first day was definitely my best day, both because I took my favorite photos and I got to see all the kits sleeping together.

On my first visit, I had seen one of the kits hang out on this wall.  And on subsequent visits, it definitely proved to be popular.  I cannot quite tell if this is the same fox as in my previous post or not.


Here are two of the kits sharing a brief moment of relaxation.


Finally, on a different day, I spied this fox taking a nap. I was fairly far away, but I did not want to get any closer and disturb this peaceful-looking fox.


Unfortunately, for the fox, the nap was short-lived, as some guy person who had seen the fox decided to walk right up to her/him. Not surprisingly, the fox did not hang around to visit with this guy but stealthily slide off to a more discreet napping spot.
