River Otter at Rest

One day, I lucked upon a River Otter hauled out on land taking a little rest.  The otter did not seem to mind my presence and proceeding to do some scratching, a little rolling, but mostly just resting.

Unfortunately, for me and the otter, a few loud children showed up.  At first, I hoped that they would not see the otter or that the otter would not mind.  But the otter focused intently on them.

Shortly, the otter decided this spot was not so restful after all.  And, into the water, the otter slid.

  1. Hi Jen,
this situation with children or other people are in the woods, I know only too well .. there can annoy repeatedly about it.
If you still have such a super nice design as the Otters in front of the lens, it is twice as bad .. anyway .. there where he looks attentively is my favorite
    greetings Frank
